MUSTAFA ERCAN

PRESIDENT OF MUGLA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY

He is the son of Mehmet Mr.Celal and Mrs.Nazende ERCAN.

He was born in Mugla in 1962. He studied at Mugla Dumlupınar Primary School (1973), Mugla Central Secondary School (1976), Mugla Turgut Reis high school (1979). He won Eskisehir Academy of economic and Commercial Sciences and was able to continue this education for 2 years (1981). Mustafa Ercan, who lost his father when he was 10 years old, interrupted his education for various economic and social reasons, immediately after graduating from high school, 5 m2, which he founded in 1979.lik paid more attention to his small business, developed his business.

After completing his military service (1986) in the same year, he turned to the retail sector with durable goods and continued his progress. He combined this business with his brothers ‘ stationery-office grocery business and became a co-founder of Ercanlar Limited Company. 42 years ago, it started its commercial life on an area of 5 m2, today it continues in 6 branches in the real sector, 1500 m2 closed area, with 40 employees.

The importance of social, cultural, natural and ecological values is among its indispensable.Dec. So he took active positions in many non-governmental organizations, many of which had a share in his organization. Mugla Environmental Association, Mugla Karabaglar development and beautification Association, Mugla Red Crescent Association, Mugla Young Businessmen Association, Mugla Turgut Reis High School Alumni Association, Muglaspor Club Association, etc. he was a founding member and manager of non-governmental organizations.

On the other hand, he was a member of the Development Board of the South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA) (2010-2016), the Arbitration Committee for Consumer Rights in Mugla (province) (2010-2018), and the Executive Board of MUTSO Academy. He is the co-founder of Mugla Teknopark AŞ.

He served as Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the Mugla Chamber of Commerce in 1999-2005 and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mugla Chamber of Commerce and industry in 2005-2018. On May 22, 2018, he was elected president of Mugla Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).

He speaks English at the entry level. He is married and has 2 children.
